Join us on the third Saturday of the month from 10 AM to 12 noon for the “Open Stitches” needlepoint class. These are two-hour workshops concentrating on the application of special stitches and fibers to a project of your choice. Feel free to bring in any canvas that you want to work on, and our wonderful teacher will help you make something fabulous.
The Yarn Barn is excited to have Cynthia Thomas as your instructor. Cynthia has trained with some of the finest needlework instructors in the country including Tony Minieri, Jane Zimmerman, Chottie Alderson, Judy Soulioutis just to name a few. Her philosophy is that needlework should be fun.
Cynthia has taught classes at Destination Dallas and The National Needlearts Association (TNNA). In addition, she is a member of the American Needlepoint Guild, Embroiders Guild of America and The National Needlearts Association. Cynthia also creates stitch guides for several national needlepoint designers such as Melissa Shirley Designs,
Princess and Me, Shelley Tribbey and more.
Please call ahead of time to put your name on the class list. Sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis. To ensure that all your questions are answered, we have a class size of six students. The class fee of $10 for the two hour lesson is due upon registration and is non-refundable. If you have an emergency or conflict, we will be happy to accommodate you as best we can in another class.
