Beginning & Intermediate Knitting Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting. As a new knitter we will help you build a solid knitting foundation. You will learn to read & understand basic knitting terminology & the yarn skein band, how to cast on & bind off, the knit and purl stitches & basic pattern reading. Lace Series - Alivia Shawl Ready for a little bit (or a lot) of lace? We're celebrating Mardi Gras & gearing up for Fiesta with the Alivia shawl. You'll learn about shawl construction, increases & decreases as you work your way from the lace border's bottom point to the top edge.
